Shipping Policy

At Smake, we are committed to delivering your orders promptly and efficiently. Please review our shipping policy below.

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped. The status of your order can be viewed via the order tracking page.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

  • For Male' Area: Delivery is free of charge for Hulhumale', Male' and boats/ferries/launches.
  • For islands: Delivery charges depends on the shipping method selected by the customer. The cost must be born by the customer. Please find more information below.

Shipping Methods

We use a variety of shipping methods to ship to islands:

  • Maldivian Air Cargo (Male'): Delivery to Maldivan Air Cargo terminal in Male' (Maafanu Bus Terminal) is free of charge. The fee from Maldivian must be borne by the customer.
  • Maldivian Air Cargo (Hulhule'): Delivery to Maldivan Air Cargo terminal in Hulhule' (Airport) is chargeable by MVR 100. The fee from Maldivian and MACL must be borne by the customer.
  • Boats/ferries/launches: Delivery to any boat is free of charge. The fee from the respective vessel must be borne by the customer.
  • Forwarding Services: Delivery to any forwarding service such as Redbox is chargeable by MVR 100. The fee from the respective forwarder must be borne by the customer.
  • Others: If your preferred shipping method is not in this list, kindly contact us at info@smake.tech or on instagram for more information.

Order Tracking

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email.
  • Order status can be tracked from our tracking page by entering your order ID and email or phone number.

Shipping Delays

  • While we strive to meet our delivery estimates, there may be circumstances beyond our control, such as cancelled flights, customs delays, or carrier issues, that may affect delivery times.
  • If your order is significantly delayed, we assure you that Smake will provide a compensation as a token of appreciation for your patience and understanding. This may be in the form of a free gift, a discount on the total price, or a voucher applicable for a future purchase.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

  • All taxes are always included in our prices. There are no hidden fees from Smake.

Refund / Exchange / Warranty Policy

At Smake, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. We are proud to offer one of the most comprehensive warranty claiming procedures in Maldives. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Exchanges

We offer replacements for any product that has a manufacturing defect that is covered under the warranty of the manufacturer. However, please note that a technician will be assigned to your case, should there be an issue. A confirmation from a technician on the product being faulty is required before an exchange can be issued.

Please be advised that all customers are granted a 30-day period to test their product. If any issues arise that were not identified during our quality checks, but are discovered after the 30-day period has elapsed, Smake will be unable to provide refunds, exchanges, or process claims.

Refunds

For customers experiencing an issue with their product out of the box, the default route is to go through an exchange. However, in the case of a serious mistake from Smake, a full refund can also be offered depending on the loss incurred by the customer.

Warranties

Different products offer different warranties. For more information, you can check the official manufacturer's page for each product. Smake forwards the full warranty offered by the respective manufacturer for all items except:

  • Cases: Depending on the model of the case, the warranty forwarded from Smake ranges from 6 months to 1 years despite some manufacturers offering 1-2 years of warranty on their cases.
  • Monitors: For monitors, we offer the full 2 or 3 years offered by manufacturers, however, free coverage is given only for the first 2 years. There will be a fee incurred for the remaining year which is refundable should the manufacturer honor the warranty claim
  • Power Supplies exceeding a manufacturer's warranty of 5 years. There will be a fee incurred for the remaining years which is refundable should the manufacturer honor the warranty claim
