Our Journey
We started off as a group of teenagers in high school casually playing competitive titles on a PS4. Due to the love for the titles, it was customary to watch the tournaments held worldwide in different E-sports settings for the games we play. But we quickly came to the realization that almost all of those tournaments were held on the PC platform.
The switch to PC was inevitable but the challenges of making that switch at that time was near impossible. Local options were still growing, importing internationally was difficult let alone unaffordable and most importantly, product integrity was non existent.
That was the spark that started Smake. We dreamt of transforming the gaming and computer space in Maldives by making the switch to PC accessible, simple and enjoyable. This remains our goal, one that we wholeheartedly pursue and strive for every day.

Genesis of Smake
Smake is founded in the heart of the Maldives following the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. The idea of a consistent, reliable, and affordable source of quality computer components and peripherals is born.
May 2022
The First Build
Smake receives an order for a computer system, marking the first build by Smake featuring a 12th gen i5 processor and a RTX 3060.
Aug 2023
Business Registration
Smake is registered as a sole proprietorship under the Ministry of Economic Development, ensuring the authenticity and credibility of the business for its customers.
Sept 2023
Authorization by Tecware
Smake obtains an authorisation from Tecware, a leading brand for budget computer cases, broadening its product range and reinforcing its status as a reliable source of computer parts.
Nov 2023
GST Registration
Smake reaches a milestone in revenue and is registered under Maldives Inland Revenue Authority for GST.
Feb 2024
Authorization by Aryl
Smake announces a new partnership with The Aryl, a company specializing in space-efficient products for work and gaming setups. They offer high-quality monitor arms, laptop stands, and accessories like headphone stands, cable management trays, and cup holders—all designed to create a clutter-free desk space.

Smake secures an authorization from Colorful CN, a leading vendor for Nvidia's graphics cards, further reinforcing the authenticity of products offered and marking one of Smake's most significant milestones.
